Kansas HB2674, known as the PFAS Protection Act, prohibits the sale of specific products containing intentionally added perfluoroalkyl or polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in the state. Effective January 1, 2028, manufacturers must not sell, offer for sale, distribute, or distribute for sale products with intentionally added PFAS unless they have submitted required information to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Products exempt from this prohibition include cookware, food packaging, dental flosses, juvenile products, and firefighting foams.
