Prohibits associations from banning rooftop solar energy systems.
Prohibits unit owners associations from limiting or prohibiting the installation of rooftop solar energy conversion systems. Associations may adopt reasonable rules regarding the placement of such systems, but these rules cannot prevent installation, impair functioning, restrict use, or adversely affect cost or efficiency. This act supplements the Kansas uniform common interest owners bill of rights act.
