Extends tax credit for contributions to Kansas community and technical colleges for capital improvements, deferred maintenance, or technology.

The bill extends the tax credit for contributions to Kansas community and technical colleges for capital improvements, deferred maintenance, or technology purchases. Contributions to community colleges or technical colleges for these purposes qualify for a tax credit of up to 60% of the total amount contributed. Contributions to postsecondary educational institutions qualify for a tax credit of up to 50% of the total amount contributed. The credit can be transferred to another taxpayer, with the transferor receiving at least 50% of the credit's value.
