Introduced·1/28/26

Kansas HB2585 establishes a distinctive delta waterfowl license plate for passenger vehicles and trucks.

Kansas HB2585 creates a distinctive license plate for passenger vehicles and trucks, available to Kansas residents starting January 1, 2027. Owners or lessees of vehicles weighing 20,000 pounds or less can apply for the plate, which requires an annual logo use royalty payment of $25 to $100. The board of directors of delta waterfowl, with approval from the director of vehicles, will design the plate. The logo use royalty payment is due annually and must be submitted to the county treasurer. The license plate is non-transferable and must be renewed annually.
