Kansas HB2565 amends the compensation rates for teachers and licensed personnel at the Kansas state school for the blind and the Kansas state school for the deaf. Effective July 1, 2007, these employees must receive pay at least equal to that of teachers in USD 233, Olathe, Kansas, as of September of the preceding school year, based on comparable education and experience. If no such teacher or licensed personnel is employed by USD 233, Olathe, then the pay rate would be based on what would otherwise be paid to such a teacher or licensed personnel.
