Kansas HB2561 authorizes the state board of regents to sell and convey real property valued at $5,000,000 or less without further legislative authorization. The board must have the property appraised by three disinterested appraisers to determine its market value. All proceeds from such sales must be remitted to the state treasurer and deposited in the state treasury to the credit of the board of regents. The board is also required to submit an annual report to the legislature listing any such real property sales that occurred during the previous fiscal year.
