Kansas HB2546 allows Labette County to impose a countywide sales tax to support its fire departments.

Kansas HB2546 amends state law to grant Labette County the authority to impose a countywide sales tax. The revenue from this tax will be dedicated to providing financial support to the fire departments located within the county.
