Kansas HB2518 enacts the Kansas Transparency in Consumer Legal Funding Act. The bill modifies the severity levels for conspiracy, attempt, and criminal solicitation of certain nondrug felonies, particularly when the victim is a child. It also defines "nude" and "private place" for the purposes of privacy violations. The act repeals and replaces sections of K.S.A. 21-5301, 21-5302, 21-5303, and 21-6101, establishing new penalties and definitions for breach of privacy and related offenses.
