Kansas HB2416, known as the Kansas motorsports venue protection act, grants immunity to racing facilities or racetracks from civil actions based on nuisance, taking, or similar legal theories. This immunity applies if the racing facility or racetrack was established in Kansas before a surrounding property owner acquired the property or constructed improvements. The act does not apply to actions alleging violations of state or local laws. The act takes effect upon publication in the statute book.
