Introduced Text

Allows pharmacists in Kansas to administer certain vaccines to children and adults under a vaccination protocol.

Kansas HB2369 amends the state's pharmacy act to allow pharmacists to administer vaccines to individuals aged seven and older, or as recommended by the CDC, under a vaccination protocol. This protocol must be approved or authorized by the FDA. The bill specifies that pharmacists cannot administer vaccines not included in the protocol, such as cholera, monkeypox, and others. The bill also repeals the existing section on vaccine administration and takes effect upon publication in the statute book.
