Kansas HB2300 amends the Kansas consumer protection act to include land transactions for wind and solar energy projects. It prohibits suppliers from initiating door-to-door sales to consumers in certain residential care facilities unless the consumer consents in writing. It also allows consumers to revoke leases or contracts for wind or solar energy projects. The act mandates that suppliers provide consumers with a fully completed receipt or copy of any contract at the time of execution and informs consumers of their right to cancel a door-to-door sale within three business days.
