Kansas HB2260 makes it illegal to use electronic communication devices while operating a motor vehicle, with certain exceptions. These exceptions include using amateur or ham radio devices, citizens band radios, commercial two-way radio communication devices, global positioning system receivers, prescribed medical devices, radios, and subscription-based emergency communication devices.
