This bill abolishes the Department of Corrections Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Fund and creates the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Fund. It transfers all moneys and liabilities from the abolished fund to the newly created fund. Effective July 1, 2025, all assets and responsibilities of the Department of Corrections Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Fund are transferred to the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Fund.
