Kansas HB2165 enacts the returning to nonaccountability of the executive branch agencies that report to the governor act. It eliminates the budget process requirements of a program service inventory, integrated budget fiscal process, and performance-based budgeting system. This bill repeals K.S.A. 75-3718b, which previously mandated these budget processes for executive branch agencies. The changes will take effect after the bill is published in the statute book.
