Kansas HB2046 amends the state's insurance statutes to allow insurers to classify and file certain travel insurance policies under the accident and health line of insurance. Specifically, travel insurance providing coverage for sickness, accident, disability, or death during travel, either exclusively or in conjunction with emergency evacuation or repatriation of remains, can be classified under accident and health or inland marine insurance.
