Kansas HB2021 mandates the secretary of state to establish rules and regulations for county election officers to use remote ballot boxes for advance voting. These regulations will specify the dates, times, and locations for using remote ballot boxes and any other requirements necessary to ensure ballot integrity. Remote ballot boxes, as defined, are locked ballot boxes designated for advance voting but not located in county election offices or satellite advance voting sites. This act will take effect after its publication in the statute book.
