Senate Study Bill 3050 modifies the curriculum for students in grades nine through twelve by allowing instruction related to technology, engineering, or manufacturing to meet a portion of the unit requirements related to computer science. This instruction can be offered through dedicated units of coursework or through units that also meet the requirements of other coursework. The state board of education is required to adopt rules to implement these provisions.
