This bill provides landlords of manufactured home communities with the option to have water service provided directly to individual tenants or to the community as a whole. If the landlord chooses direct service, the water system must inspect existing plumbing facilities, establish direct accounts with tenants, and bill them for their water consumption. The landlord remains responsible for notifying tenants of the change in service provision and for any delinquent charges from tenants.
