Iowa SF4 amends the Code to prohibit individuals who were lobbyists from serving as executive or administrative heads of licensing boards for two years after they stopped lobbying. Additionally, it prohibits current executive or administrative heads of licensing boards from becoming lobbyists for two years after their service ends. Violations of these provisions are classified as serious misdemeanors, punishable by up to one year in confinement and a fine of at least $430 but not more than $2,560.
