This bill creates a hope card program for plaintiffs granted certain domestic abuse orders. The attorney general, in consultation with district clerks of court, will develop and implement the program. A plaintiff granted an order can request a hope card from the clerk of court. The card must be provided within three business days and cannot be subject to a fee. The card is valid until the order expires or two years from the order's entry, whichever is earlier.
