Allows transfer of alcoholic liquor between licensed premises with identical ownership, excluding it from delivery regulations.
This bill modifies the Code to allow a licensee authorized to sell alcoholic liquor for consumption off premises to transfer alcoholic liquor between licensed premises with identical ownership. The transfer is not considered a delivery under existing regulations. The alcoholic liquor remains inventory of the transferring licensee until placed on the receiving premises, at which point it becomes inventory of the receiving licensee. Licensees must maintain records of these transfers for three years and make them accessible to the Department of Revenue.
