Adjusts the duration and amount of per diem payments for Iowa General Assembly members.

This bill modifies the per diem payment schedule for Iowa General Assembly members, extending the period of payment from the first 100 calendar days of the first regular session and the first 100 calendar days of the second regular session to the first 55 calendar days of each session. If the first regular session exceeds 110 calendar days or the second regular session exceeds 150 calendar days, payments will be limited to 110 and 150 days, respectively. Members from Polk County will receive a per diem for expenses of office, excluding travel, for each day the General Assembly is in session.
