This bill amends the Iowa public employees' retirement system to allow retirees to return to covered employment as school district support staff or a coach after receiving one month of retirement benefits. Previously, retirees had to wait until they qualified for at least four months of retirement benefits before returning to such employment. This change applies to members whose first month of entitlement is July 2026 or later.
