Iowa SF2015 allows political parties to publish precinct caucus notices on official social media instead of newspapers.
Iowa SF2015 modifies the Code to allow political parties to publish notice of precinct caucus dates, times, and locations on official social media instead of requiring publication in a newspaper. The notice must appear twice, with the first publication occurring no more than 15 days and no fewer than 7 days before the caucus, and the second no more than 7 days before and no later than the caucus date. The cost of publication, if any, is to be borne by the political party.
