This bill allows certified law enforcement officers to operate unmanned aerial vehicles to assist in apprehending drivers who are eluding or attempting to elude a pursuing law enforcement vehicle. Officers may cite drivers for any traffic violations committed during the pursuit. Information obtained from the use of unmanned aerial vehicles is admissible as evidence in criminal or civil proceedings if it is from a location viewable from public navigable airspace, within public view, or obtained in a manner consistent with state and federal law.
