Iowa HSB263 amends the Code to require temporary custody orders in dissolution proceedings to include a minimum visitation schedule with the noncustodial parent. Unless the court finds joint physical care inappropriate, both parents must share temporary custody during the proceedings. If joint physical care is deemed unsuitable, the court must specify the reasons based on factors listed in section 598.41, subsection 3.
