Iowa HF925 modifies current law to allow individuals to operate or ride snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles with loaded firearms without a permit, provided they are on land they own, possess, or rent and their conduct is otherwise lawful. The bill also permits nonambulatory individuals to carry uncased and unloaded firearms while operating or riding these vehicles. It repeals previous prohibitions and associated fines for carrying firearms in or on these vehicles.
