Establishes a fund to provide grants for constructing overpasses and underpasses across railway tracks.
The bill creates a railway tracks overpass and underpass fund in the state treasury, under the control of the Department of Transportation. Moneys in the fund are appropriated to the department to distribute as grants to cities and counties for constructing highway overpasses and underpasses across railway tracks. The fund will consist of all moneys appropriated to it. Interest or earnings on moneys deposited in the fund will be credited to the fund, and moneys in the fund will not revert at the close of a fiscal year.
