The bill establishes two human trafficking prosecution units within the Department of Justice. These units, staffed by multidisciplinary teams, will identify, investigate, and prosecute human trafficking cases, and provide care and support for victims. One unit will serve the western half of the state, and the other will serve the eastern half.
