Iowa HF772 amends the Code to require the college student aid commission to collect an annual authorization fee from specific postsecondary educational institutions not registered with the commission. These institutions include those exempt from registration under Code chapter 261B and those conducting educational courses in Iowa under Code section 714.18. The fee amounts are set at $2,000 for entities with a primary location in Iowa and $3,500 for those outside Iowa, with an annual increase limit of 3%. The fee is nonrefundable and became effective starting July 1, 2025.
