A first offense is a scheduled violation with a fine of $250. A second offense is a simple misdemeanor with a fine of $105 to $855. A third or subsequent offense is a serious misdemeanor with a fine of $430 to $2,560. The bill also removes the prohibition on suspending the sentence for such violations.
