The bill creates the Iowa rural health transformation fund, separate from the state's general fund, under the control of the Department of Health and Human Services. The fund consists of moneys received from the federal rural health transformation program. These funds are to be used in accordance with the requirements set forth in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. The Department of Health and Human Services is required to report quarterly to the general assembly on expenditures from the fund, including identifying by city where within the state moneys have been expended.
