This bill revises the regulation of alternative operator services to apply only to incarcerated person calling services.

This bill amends the definition of alternative operator services companies to exclude them from regulation unless they provide incarcerated person calling services. It removes and adds definitions and makes corresponding changes in the Code section to conform to this revision. The bill also removes the requirement for a blank form of franchise, chair signature, and official seal for incarcerated person calling services.
