Iowa HF2055 amends existing law to allow schools, food establishments, carnivals, recreational camps, youth sports facilities, and sports arenas to obtain and maintain a supply of epinephrine delivery systems for emergency use. These systems include epinephrine auto-injectors and epinephrine nasal sprays. The bill permits students with respiratory distress, asthma, or other airway constricting diseases to possess and use their medication, and students with a risk of anaphylaxis to use epinephrine delivery systems, provided certain conditions are met.
