Indiana SCR0009 recognizes the Donated Dental Services program for its significant contributions to Hoosiers with disabilities, medical fragilities, or who are elderly. The program, created by the Indiana Dental Association and Dental Lifeline Network, has donated $21.8 million in dental treatment this year alone. Since its inception in 1991, the DDS program has provided comprehensive dental treatment to 6,141 Hoosiers with seriously neglected dental problems. The network includes hundreds of volunteers, including 444 dentists and 98 dental labs.
