Indiana SB0139 amends the Indiana Code to allow women who are breastfeeding to be exempt from jury duty. The exemption applies to women who have given birth within the preceding 365 days and are currently breastfeeding. The bill sets forth the requirements for this exemption and it will be effective July 1, 2026.
