Indiana SB0110 amends the Indiana University board of trustees membership, term limits, and election procedures. The bill sets the expiration date for elected trustees' terms to July 1 of the year in which their terms end. It prohibits Indiana University employees from serving on the board, except for the student trustee. The bill mandates that at least five of the nine trustees must be alumni of Indiana University and residents of Indiana. It also specifies that no more than three trustees can reside in the same county.
