This bill amends Indiana Code concerning charter schools, including funding, operations, and authorization. It specifies that charter schools must provide transportation services to students residing within the public school district. It removes property tax sharing requirements for school corporations and charter schools. It changes the maximum charter school contract term to five years. It mandates that charter schools adopt a child suicide awareness and prevention policy, staff performance evaluation plan, curriculum, student discipline, and criminal organization activity reporting.
