Indiana SB0065 mandates seizure training for school employees with direct contact with children.

Indiana SB0065 requires all applicants and employees in school corporations and charter schools who have direct, ongoing contact with children to attend training on recognizing and responding to seizure symptoms. The training must occur within 30 days of employment start or during contracted work hours, and counts towards professional development requirements. Training methods can include in-person presentations, online modules, or other approved formats. Effective July 1, 2026.
