SB0064

Call center worker and consumer protection.

Introduced·12/8/25
Intr Text

Indiana SB0064 mandates call center relocation notification and restricts state grants, loans, and tax credits for employers relocating call centers.

Indiana SB0064 establishes requirements for employers planning to relocate call centers abroad. Employers must notify the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) 120 days before relocating a call center or a significant portion of it. The IEDC will compile a list of such employers and notify state agencies. Employers on this list will be ineligible for state grants, loans, or tax credits for seven years unless the IEDC waives this restriction due to potential substantial job loss or harm to the environment.
