Indiana SB0021 prohibits the Indiana Department of Health from imposing additional requirements on contractors for pregnancy and parenting services.

Indiana SB0021 amends the Indiana Code to prohibit the Indiana Department of Health from requiring a person contracted to provide pregnancy and parenting-related services to meet additional requirements beyond those specified in the federal Charitable Choice Act. This applies to contracts funded under a community services block grant program. The bill also prohibits the state department or its contractors from requiring services to be provided by more than one individual. The new provision takes effect upon passage.
