Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Indiana Youth Services Association and its impact on youth and families.

The Indiana House of Representatives celebrates the golden anniversary of the Indiana Youth Services Association, recognizing its 50 years of service to Indiana's youth, families, and communities. The association has provided prevention programs, crisis intervention, family supports, mentoring, and positive youth development opportunities, serving approximately 275,000 youth and educating 228,434 youth and 137,596 adults. The association's efforts have prevented an estimated 3,064 youth from entering or re-entering juvenile detention, saving Indiana millions of dollars.
