Proposing to remove five county officer positions from the Indiana Constitution.

This resolution proposes an amendment to the Indiana Constitution to remove the positions of auditor, recorder, treasurer, coroner, and surveyor from the list of elected county officers. It requires the General Assembly to prescribe the duties of these officers to the county executive. The amendment would take effect after being agreed to by two consecutive general assemblies and ratified by a majority of state voters.
