Indiana HB1322 allows licensed attorneys to take the real estate broker exam without completing a broker course of study.

Indiana HB1322 amends the state's code to allow licensed attorneys to obtain a real estate broker license without completing an approved broker course of study. The bill requires the Indiana Real Estate Commission to amend its rules to allow attorneys to sit for the broker examination without the educational requirements. This change takes effect upon passage and will expire on July 1, 2028.
