Allows Indiana police and firefighters to re-enter the Deferred Retirement Option Plan (DROP) after exiting.

Indiana HB1300 modifies the Deferred Retirement Option Plan (DROP) for certain police and firefighters. It allows members to withdraw from DROP and re-enter it, but only twice in their lifetime. The DROP entry and retirement dates are based on the most recent election. Members can extend their DROP retirement date by up to 60 months if they entered before July 1, 2024. Effective July 1, 2026.
