Allows counties to impose a $1 surcharge on state park entrance fees for public safety and infrastructure.

The bill allows counties with state or federal land or reservoirs to impose a surcharge of up to $1 on entrance fees for state parks and recreation areas. The surcharge cannot be applied to annual pass holders. Counties can use the collected surcharge for public safety and infrastructure, including water quality improvements. The Department of Natural Resources must collect and report the surcharge to county treasurers.
