Indiana HB1128 amends the Indiana Code to prohibit discrimination in housing on the basis of source of income, active duty status, or veteran status. The bill defines "source of income," "active duty," and "veteran" for purposes of the statute. It prohibits refusal to sell or rent, refusal to negotiate, and making a dwelling unavailable or denying it to any person based on these factors. The bill also prohibits intimidation or interference with a person because of these factors and because the person is involved in housing transactions. Effective July 1, 2026.
