Indiana HB1120 extends the hyperbaric oxygen treatment pilot program for veterans until June 30, 2027.

Indiana HB1120 extends the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs hyperbaric oxygen treatment pilot program for veterans until June 30, 2027. The bill provides that, upon exhaustion of funding provided by the department to the Indiana Department of Health prior to January 1, 2025, funding for the program is paid from the military family relief fund. The bill also outlines criteria for approval of payment for treatment, including verification by the provider that the veteran is eligible for participation in the pilot program and voluntarily accepts treatment through the pilot program.
