Indiana HB1087 mandates the Indiana Department of Transportation to construct additional lanes on Interstate Highway 70 where there are currently.

Indiana HB1087 requires the Indiana Department of Transportation to construct one or more additional lanes for eastbound and westbound traffic on Interstate Highway 70 in areas where there are currently four lanes of traffic. The bill also includes an appropriation from the state general fund to cover the construction and associated costs, effective July 1, 2025.
