Permits an employee to choose the attending physician for treatment of work-related injuries or diseases.

The bill allows employees to choose their attending physician for treatment of work-related injuries or occupational diseases, effective July 1, 2026. The employer must provide the chosen physician, services, and products free of charge. If the employee cannot choose a physician, the employer must select one. The employer must also cover travel expenses if treatment is required outside the county of employment. The bill also addresses the provision of artificial members, braces, and prosthodontics for certain injuries and diseases.
